The AIMS Visiting Researcher Programme strengthens the Network’s global research connections by hosting leading scientists, early-career researchers and industry experts at its Centres. Visiting researchers collaborate with Research Chairs, visiting lecturers, postdoctoral fellows and students on joint projects, deliver specialised lecture series and mentor emerging scholars. This programme promotes knowledge exchange, sparks new research directions, and deepens cross-continental collaboration, ensuring that AIMS Centres remain globally engaged while rooted in African priorities.
