David is the Chairman of the Science Museum Foundation in London. Until September 2023, he was Chairman of the Board of GAM Holdings, AG, a Swiss listed asset management company (having previously been interim CEO from November 2018 to September 2019). Prior to that he was CEO of Rogge Global Investors. He is on advisor to the investment committee of the National Trust Pension Fund, on the investment committee of the Worshipful Company of Stationers and Newspaper Makers and the African Institute of Mathematical Sciences. At various stages of his career, he was CIO of Henderson Global Investors and has worked in asset management for UBS, Merrill Lynch and JP Morgan. He holds a BSc (Highest Honours) in Economics from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, is a Chartered Financial Analyst, and is a Fellow of the Royal Astronomical Society.
