AIMS Graduation 2023/2024: Celebrating Young Talents across Africa

As the 2023/2024 academic year draws to a close, the African Institute for Mathematical Sciences (AIMS) is proud to celebrate the graduation of Master’s students across our Centers in South Africa (33), Senegal (56), Ghana (118), Cameroon (59) and Rwanda (45) bringing this year’s graduating cohort to 311. These dedicated and talented individuals now join the ranks of our esteemed alumni body of 3100+ brilliant minds from over 40 African countries (as of 2023), ready to make impactful contributions in various fields.

We are immensely proud of these students for their hard work and perseverance. Their journey through the rigour of the AIMS program has prepared them to tackle complex challenges and innovate within their respective fields of interest within the Mathematical Sciences. The skills and knowledge they have acquired at AIMS will undoubtedly propel them to become leaders and change-makers in their communities and beyond.

Heartfelt gratitude goes out to all our academic and funding partners. Your unwavering commitment and support over the past 20 years have been instrumental in nurturing Africa’s brightest minds. Together, we continue to shape the Future of Science, creating an environment where excellence thrives, and the results are evident in the achievements of our graduates.
